How Pulse works
From arrival to deposit, in one app.
Pulse runs the whole used-car journey — the prep behind the scenes and the buying experience out front. Here it is, stage by stage.
Stage one · Behind the scenes
The prep & forecourt tracker.
Before a buyer ever sees the car, Pulse has tracked it from the moment it arrived — every cost captured, every authorisation logged, ready for the pitch.
-
01
Arrival & walkaround
A car arrives. The team records the walkaround on a tablet, marking bodywork damage on a wireframe — priced automatically from your own damage matrix.
-
02
Prep, service & MOT
The work is set out: used-car prep, the mechanical check, service and MOT. Extra work is priced and authorised, with every cost and sign-off logged against the vehicle.
-
03
Valet & photography
Valet and photography complete and sign off their stages. Nothing moves forward until the car is genuinely ready for the pitch.
-
04
Spec sheet & QR
The manager sets the price; Pulse writes the spec sheet, generates the QR code for the windscreen, and the car goes live — your sales team alerted automatically.
Stage two · The buyer
The customer takes the lead.
A QR code sits in every windscreen. The buyer scans it, opens your branded spec page on their own phone, and explores the car at their own pace. When they want to take it further, two buttons — Request keys and Request help — let them raise their hand with a name and number, entirely on their terms.
- No app to download — a scan with the phone camera
- Your branding, your spec, your pricing
- The buyer chooses the moment of contact, not a salesperson

Stage three · The response clock
The enquiry, routed and timed.
The moment a buyer raises their hand, the enquiry lands on your team’s app. A salesperson claims it, or commits to a response time — and the quickest to respond is assigned the customer.
- 06:00Not yet attended to? The assigned salesperson receives a reminder.
- 10:00Still waiting? The sales manager is alerted, and the customer receives an SMS confirming help is on its way.
Every enquiry is measured. Nothing is left to chance, and no customer is left standing on the forecourt.
Stage four · Oversight & the deal
Full visibility, and a deposit paid to you.
The manager view
Response times, conversions, who is converting and who is slipping — alongside days in stock, prep cost, potential profit and live scan activity, on one screen.
Deposits, straight to you
The buyer can leave a deposit from the spec page, taken through Stripe Connect and paid directly into your own account. You are the merchant; switch it on or off as you wish.
Pulse then hands the customer back to your DMS for the deal and aftersales — having touched nothing in it.
Start a live trial
See it live on your own forecourt for 30 days.
No payment, no commitment — a live trial on your pitch, with your own stock, and a straight conversation about whether it earns its place.
